Three tigers and a view of the planetarium with seats, projector and projected Saturn.

Discover worlds in the Gene exhibition and in the planetarium.

Attention!

Building site! The museum is getting a new building. The museum and planetarium are still open.

We are currently in the process of setting up the "Forum for Natural Sciences". During this time, we are still OPEN. The main entrance has been moved to the Aaseewiesen side - so it's "off to the new entrance!" Follow the signs on the construction fence or the chalk marks on the ground around the building.

The dinosaur and Westphalia exhibitions have been removed in order to modernise the area. You can currently only see dinosaurs in our outdoor area.

Instead, visit the large, inclusive and family-friendly special exhibition "Genes - Diversity of Life" and one of the most modern planetariums in the world. Please note! There may be some construction noise in the exhibition area. However, we will do everything we can to ensure you have a pleasant visit.

We look forward to your visit!
